The Escape to Peace Upgrade

Every treatment at TRUCE already opens with a small ritual. Before your service begins, you light a candle and take a moment to name what you're hoping to get out of your time with us. Peace. Rest. Clarity. Whatever it is, that intention shapes the rest of the visit. It's a small touch, but guests tell us it's one of their favorite parts of coming to TRUCE.

Escape to Peace extends that same idea to the other end of the appointment.

Here's the thing about our Quiet Pause Lounge: it's open to every guest, whether you've added Escape to Peace or not. No matter what you've booked, you're always welcome to stay and relax there for as long as you'd like once your service wraps up. Nobody's rushing you back out into the day.

What the upgrade adds is a more intentional version of that same relaxation. Once you're settled in the lounge, a warm cup of White Peony tea and a slice of locally sourced cake with fresh berries are brought to you, served on real tableware, on your own little tray. A vegan, gluten-free cake option is available too, just mention it when you book.

Stay for five minutes or twenty, tea or no tea. Let the massage or facial actually settle in before you're back in traffic on 405.

Why We Created It

A lot of spas are built around getting you in and out efficiently. TRUCE was built around the opposite idea: the moments right after a treatment matter just as much as the treatment itself. Rushing back into your day can undo a good chunk of what you just paid for.

Our Quiet Pause Lounge protects that in-between moment for every guest. Escape to Peace just gives you a reason to really notice it, with tea and cake that turn "you can stay if you want" into "here's something worth staying for." Instead of a facial or massage that ends abruptly, you get a full arc, from the first candle to the last sip of tea.

Not Just for the Big Services

Escape to Peace isn't reserved for 90-minute massages or full facials. You can add it to a manicure or pedicure just as easily, and that might be where it makes the biggest difference. A half-hour nail appointment on your lunch break can turn into a real pause in your day, instead of one more errand between meetings.

Where to Find It

TRUCE is tucked away on the fourth floor of the Westin Bellevue, and that location does a lot of the work for us. You're a few floors above the noise of downtown Bellevue, in a space built to be quiet. Escape to Peace is really just us leaning further into what already sets TRUCE apart: a day spa that doesn't feel rushed, in a city that usually is.
