Booking your first spa appointment comes with a handful of small questions. Where do I park? What do I wear? Do I tip? For a lot of people, not knowing the answers is reason enough to put off booking.
Here's the whole visit at TRUCE Spa, from the parking garage to the lounge afterward, so you can walk in knowing exactly what comes next. We're on the 4th floor of The Westin Bellevue in downtown Bellevue.
How Do You Find TRUCE Inside The Westin Bellevue?
TRUCE is on the 4th floor of The Westin Bellevue at 600 Bellevue Way NE, Suite 400. Most guests park in the Lincoln Square garage and come up through the hotel.
From the garage, take the elevators on the fourth or fifth parking level to the Westin lobby. The hotel elevators will bring you up to the 4th floor. Valet parking is also available at the hotel, and we can validate your parking at the front desk, so bring your ticket with you.
You don't need to be staying at the Westin to book. If you are a hotel guest, mention it when you book, since we sometimes run specials for hotel guests.
How Early Should You Arrive for Your First Appointment?
Plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your appointment. That gives you time to check in, change, and settle in without rushing.
After you check in, you'll head to the locker room to change into a robe and slippers. If you'd rather undress in your treatment room, that's fine too. Before your service begins, you'll light a candle. It's a small TRUCE ritual that helps you set your intention for the time, and a quiet way to leave the rest of your day outside the door.
If you're running late, call or text us at 425.454.8800 as soon as you can. Every appointment still ends at its scheduled time, so a late arrival means a shorter service.
What's Included With Your Visit?
Every guest has access to the following amenities, including guests who are here only for nails:
A calmly lit lounge with tea
Showers, lockers, and hair dryers
Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and other toiletries
Robes and slippers for the length of your visit

Facials are a good fit for dry, dull, or breakout-prone skin, and your esthetician will tailor the treatment to what your skin needs that day.
Nail care gives you polished hands and feet in a much quieter setting than a typical nail salon, with lounge access included.
Body treatments combine exfoliation and wraps for soft, hydrated skin.
If you'd like to try a little of everything, the Escape Package is the easiest way to book a first visit, and it's a favorite with first-time guests. It includes a 90-minute TRUCE Signature Massage, a 60-minute Customized Facial, and a Classic Manicure and Pedicure, with a snack included. Plan on about three and three-quarter hours. Booked separately, those services add up to $463. The package price is $409.
You can also add dermaplaning to your facial for $40 with no extra time. It gently removes dead skin and fine facial hair, so your skin feels smooth and looks brighter.

What Do You Wear During Your Treatment?
You don't need to bring anything for your treatment. Arrive in whatever's comfortable, and we'll provide the robe, slippers, and everything else.
For a massage, undress to the level that feels right for you. You'll be covered by a sheet the entire time, and your therapist only uncovers the area they're working on. For facials and body treatments, your provider will let you know what to remove before they step out.
Once your service starts, speak up whenever something isn't quite right. More pressure, less pressure, a warmer blanket, quieter music: your therapist wants to know. Before you begin, mention any injuries, health concerns, skin sensitivities, or pregnancy so they can adjust the treatment.
A Few Spa Etiquette Basics
There aren't many rules, but a few details are good to know before you book.
Quiet spaces: Silence your phone once you've checked in so everyone in the lounge can enjoy the calm.
Gratuity: Tips aren't included in service prices and are always appreciated. Spa parties include an automatic 20% gratuity.
Cancellations: We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments canceled with less notice are charged the full service cost.
Age guidelines: Massage guests must be at least 16. Younger guests, generally from about age 10, can book a 30-minute facial with a parent or guardian present. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian's supervision.
Payment: We accept all major credit cards, cash, and TRUCE gift cards. If someone gave you a gift card, bring it along.
What Happens After Your Treatment?
Nothing is rushed. Most guests stay a while in the lounge with a cup of tea before they change, and the showers are there if you'd like to rinse off massage oil before heading back out.
If you loved how your skin felt after a facial, ask your esthetician which products they used. Our retail lobby carries Eminence and Epicuren skincare products, so you can keep those results going at home.
